We are temporarily closed. Will be back later this summer to support you and your pets with care and compassion. Thank you for your understanding.
Hello, and welcome! I’m Dr. Deborah Aronson, founder and head veterinarian of Twilight Range Veterinary Care in Park City, Utah. I’m honored to offer gentle, in-home palliative care and euthanasia for companion animals — support that allows families to say goodbye in the comfort of home, surrounded by love.
Prior to opening Twilight Range Vet, I built Main Line Veterinary Integrative Practice in Pennsylvania, a housecall palliative and end-of-life care practice for dogs and cats, alongside working as a veterinarian in a general practice. I was inspired to do so after euthanizing my own cat at home, realizing that the final stage of life can be as meaningful as any other — a time for tenderness, gratitude, and connection.
My approach is also shaped by my training as an interfaith chaplain at Lankenau Medical Center through Main Line Health in Philadelphia, where I supported patients and families through difficult transitions. I bring that same spirit of presence and compassion to every family I serve. After completing that training several years ago, I decided to focus fully on my in-home practice, as well as teaching other veterinary professionals.
Alongside my clinical work, I have spoken on end of life communication at a number of national and international conferences, and guide clinics in developing protocols to support their own patients, families, and staff. Each fall I am honored to teach a lab on communication and humane euthanasia techniques to second-year veterinary students at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. I’m also a Subject Matter Expert for the online University of Vermont Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Program and a proud member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC)
Here in Park City, you may find me volunteering with Nuzzles & Co., leading horses at the National Ability Center, and enjoying time outdoors — hiking, skiing, biking, and learning from the quiet wisdom of the mountains.
The name Twilight Range holds special meaning. It honors the beauty and expansiveness of life’s twilight — that tender range between light and shadow — where love and presence remain constant.
Thank you for welcoming me into your homes and your hearts. It’s my privilege and honor to walk beside you and your beloved animals in this most meaningful part of their journey.
Warmly,
Deborah A. Aronson, VMD, CVMA
